Hounds Run Tiny House is a boutique, off-grid tiny house stay set on a working vineyard and small farm in Victoria’s Great Western wine region. It offers a private, cosy retreat with sweeping views of the Grampians and surrounding countryside.
Yes — the tiny house sits on its own hilltop position overlooking the vineyard, giving you a peaceful and private space to relax and enjoy the views.
Yes, the tiny house is fully off-grid and powered by solar energy. It’s designed to provide a comfortable stay while keeping a light environmental footprint.

Check-in times will be confirmed at the time of booking. Check-in is available from 3pm and Check-out is 11am unless a late check-out has been arranged during your booking. Your stay begins with a personal welcome on arrival.
Yes — we can arrange wine hampers, special occasion packages or even a private winemaker tasting experience for a memorable stay. Just get in touch before your visit.
The tiny house includes:
The kitchenette includes a cooktop and BBQ, but there is no oven — typical of a tiny house stay. There is no microwave due to the off-grid nature of the tiny house.
Hounds Run is located in Victoria’s Grampians wine region, close to the Grampians National Park.
The tiny house uses a modern, eco-friendly composting toilet. It’s simple to use, and instructions will be provided on arrival.
Yes, a car is essential. The region is best explored by driving between wineries, walks and nearby towns. Many of the roads in the region are gravel.

The Grampians National Park is approximately 25–45 minutes’ drive, depending on where you’re heading and which route you take.
Yes — your stay includes a Sip Your Way tasting at the Black & Ginger Wine Shed in Pomonal, our sister wine business. Wines made from Hounds Run fruit are poured, along with a broad range of wines produced with locally sourced fruit.
Yes — a fire pit is available in cooler months. For safety reasons, it is not available during summer due to bushfire restrictions.
Yes — kangaroos and native birdlife are commonly seen around the vineyard and farm. Our cows are very friendly too.
Absolutely. With minimal surrounding light pollution, Hounds Run offers incredible dark night skies — perfect for stargazing from the deck or even from bed.
The space is designed primarily for couples and individuals and is not suitable for children, due to the working nature of the farm.
At this stage, pets are not permitted due to the working farm and vineyard environment. However support dogs are permitted, please contact us to enquire about bringing support dogs.
The tiny house is designed for two guests, making it ideal for couples.

Yes — you’ll be personally welcomed on arrival and shown through the tiny house. After that, the space is yours to enjoy, but we’re always available if needed.
